Clinical services

Spine, hip and knee evaluation.

Services are provided only after appropriate scheduling and clinical evaluation. Specific treatments depend on diagnosis, medical necessity, facility capabilities, authorization, and the patient's informed choice.

Spine care

Evaluation and management of cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacroiliac conditions. Care may include review of prior imaging and treatment, focused neurologic and musculoskeletal examination, nonsurgical recommendations, and discussion of surgery when appropriate.

Potential treatment paths may include therapy, medication coordination, injections through an appropriate clinician, decompression, motion-preserving procedures, or fusion. No specific procedure is recommended through the website.

Hip and knee care

Evaluation of hip and knee pain, arthritis, reduced mobility, prior replacement concerns, and symptoms that may overlap with lumbar spine disease. Treatment planning emphasizes function, prior nonsurgical care, imaging findings, and the patient's goals.

Potential options may include activity modification, therapy, medication coordination, injections, or joint replacement when clinically indicated and available at an appropriate facility. Robotic assistance may be used when appropriate and available at the treating facility; it is not guaranteed for every case.

Second opinions

Review of an existing diagnosis or proposed treatment plan, including relevant records and imaging. A second opinion may help clarify whether symptoms are more likely arising from the spine, hip, knee, or another source and whether additional evaluation is appropriate.

Second opinions do not guarantee a different diagnosis or recommendation. A complete opinion generally requires an examination and access to the actual imaging, not only the report. Complex surgical second opinions are scheduled separately from routine new-patient consultations; extensive record review or formal reporting requires advance confirmation and separate pricing.

Work injuries and employer services

Authorized musculoskeletal work-injury evaluation may be available for workers' compensation, employer-direct, and Texas non-subscriber arrangements. Services may include diagnostic evaluation, work-status recommendations, return-to-work planning, treatment recommendations, second opinions, and reports requested by an authorized party.

Case acceptance, appointment timing, reporting scope, authorization, and payment terms must be confirmed before scheduling. The standard work-injury evaluation does not include extensive record review, causation analysis, fitness-for-duty assessment, formal impairment or maximum-medical-improvement evaluation, or detailed medical-legal reporting. See Fees & payments for the current starting fee and exclusions. The website does not itself create an authorization or agreement to provide care.

Preoperative and postoperative care

When surgery is scheduled through the practice, care may include medical optimization coordination, informed consent, facility scheduling, postoperative follow-up, rehabilitation planning, and monitoring for complications.

Hospital and ambulatory surgery center affiliations will be disclosed when finalized. Patients should not assume that a particular facility, implant, technology, or insurance network is available until confirmed in writing.

Emergency warning: New weakness, loss of bowel or bladder control, severe trauma, chest pain, shortness of breath, signs of infection, or another emergency should be evaluated immediately through 911 or the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for an email or website response.
